Mayor Edna Jackson was sworn in as 1st Vice President of the Georgia Municipal Association (GMA) on Sunday, June 28 during the Association’s 2015 Annual Convention in Savannah. The convention is being held at the Savannah International Trade & Convention
Center, Hutchinson Island through tomorrow. Following Sunday’s swearing in, Mayor Jackson is on-track to become GMA President in 2016.
Created in 1933, the Georgia Municipal Association (GMA) represents municipal governments in Georgia. Based in Atlanta, GMA is a voluntary, non-profit organization that provides legislative advocacy, educational, employee benefit and technical consulting services to its members.
