The Savannah Tribune went to the streets of Savannah to find out your thoughts on The Bill Cosby Sex Scandal. Comedian Bill Cosby was accused earlier this year by many different women stating that they had been drugged and raped by him. While Bill Cosby denied these allegations, documents dating back to 2005 implicates some form of quilt by his own admission. Here’s what some of the public had to say:
“I’m not familiar with it at all. I haven’t really paid attention to it. I’ve only heard a couple things on social media, so I don’t really want to get into it.”
“I think it’s too much to do about nothing. If he was really guilty of all that, why didn’t they do something about that back in 2005 when he did the deposition. I mean the man is at the end of his career, what they going to do to him? Anything they can do to him is a life sentence. So that’s why I think, they need to leave him alone.”
“I don’t think that any of us really have an insight or the right to judge what’s
“I think that it’s odd. I guess I don’t see the point in all of these woman coming forward now rather than when it first happened. I’m not a conspiracy theorist, but what’s the point of everyone coming forward now to deteriorate, or diminish his character. It just seems like an attack, well it is an attack on Bill Cosby, It just seems like what’s the point behind it unless you’re trying to get money or fame from it, but neither one of those things seems realistic. It just seems like it’s an attack on Bill Cosby and I don’t have an opinion one way about it as far as if he did it or not.”
