Larry Meyers announced his withdrawal from the race for 3rd District Savannah City Council and will endorse opponent, Linda Wilder Bryan, at a public event held Friday, August 30 at 2304 Alabama Avenue. Meyers will be taking his own campaign sign down and replacing it with Bryan’s sign.

Special Guests former Mayor Edna Jackson and former County Commissioner Tony Center, can didate for City Council at Large, were in attendance.

Larry Myers is urging his supporters to get behind Linda Wilder Bryan for 3rd District City Alderman. He states: “I believe in my heart that Linda will make a difference in our District and community.” Bryan’s campaign for City Council has been gaining momentum as the community recognizes that her years as a police officer, community activist, and mother seeking justice for her son make her uniquely qualified to face the challenges facing the community.
