Lady Adrienne Boner Installed as National Area IV Director of Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc.

 
 

Lady Adrienne Boner, immediate past president for the Effingham Chapter of Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc. (TLOD) was installed as the 12th National Area IV Director of TLOD during its national biennial conference, Syn- Lod on July 1, 2019 held in Atlanta, GA.

Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc. (TLOD) is a non-profit professional humanitarian organization, founded in Tyler, Texas in 1964, with the purpose of organizing the talents, energies and skills of women nationally in a collaborative effort to help alleviate the moral and social problems confronting youth. TLOD has expanded its objective to include its major focus on youth known as Top Teens of America, improving the Status of Women, service to Senior Citizens, Community Beautification and Community Partnerships.

Lady Adrienne Boner was elected National Area IV Director, during the TLOD Area IV Leadership Conference on March 16th and was officially ratified during Syn-Lod last week. In her new role, she will oversee chapter operations, the implementation of national program thrusts and projects, membership chartering and inductions for Ladies and Top Teen chapters located in the second largest area of TLOD comprised of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. She will also serve as a member of Parliamen-Top, the organization’s national board of directors under the leadership of newly installed 14th TLOD National President, Lady Sharon J. Beard.

With the theme “Moving Forward, Making a Difference, Honoring our Legacy and Shaping the Future in TLOD & TTA,” Lady Boner plans to increase opportunities for sisterly relations, increase service and visibility in the community; create partnerships that provide immeasurable and sustainable service, continue to spread awareness on literacy issues and her signature initiative, “Get Well, Eat Well, Think Well and Be Well.” A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, Lady Boner earned her Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications from Claflin University, Master of Fine Arts in Film & Television from Savannah College of Art and Design, and a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from Fielding Graduate University. Lady Boner is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority – Savannah Chapter, where she served as Information and Technology Chair for the past four years.
