Professional MMA fighter, Kimbo Slice, passed away Monday, June 6, 2016. His cause of death, according to sources, was heart failure. Slice was hospitalized prior to his death in Margate, Florida. The details on this hospital visit are unknown.
Born on February 8, 1974 as Kevin Ferguson, Slice was born in the Bahamas; however, he spent most of his life growing up in South Florida. Slice got his start to fame, like many, on the internet. As a heavyweight at 6-foot-2, 225 pounds, he had an impressive resume with a 5-2 professional record with four TKOs.
Slice is survived by his six children, one of which attended his MMA debut back in March.
