Judge John Morse, Jr. To Be Sworn In New Term

Superior Court Judge John E. Morse, Jr, cordially invites you to witness his swearing in for his new term of service on the Eastern Judicial Circuit. The swearing in will be conducted by Justice Robert Benham of the Supreme Court of Georgia.

The ceremony will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at 12 noon in Courtroom J of the J. Tom Coleman Judicial Courthouse, 133 Montgomery Street, Savannah, GA.

Judge Morse, a native Savannahian, was appointed to the bench of the State Court of Chatham County by Governor Zell Miller. In 1993, he became the Chief Judge of that court before being appointed by Governor Zell Miller in May, 1995 to the Superior Court of the Eastern Judicial Circuit (Chatham County). For the last five years, Judge Morse has also served as the Administrative Judge for the 1st Administrative District of Georgia.
