Jermaya Patterson Honored at Carnegie Hall

Jermaya “Maya” Patterson was overwhelmed with joy as she was recognized at Carnegie Hall on Tuesday, May 31st at 7pm.

With a sold out crowd, it was definitely a night to remember.

Her national gold medal winning photograph will be on display at the World Financial Center in New York until June 30th.

Maya spent her last night in New York enjoying the sights and sounds of the historic Apollo Theater as she sat in amazement as people both young and old competed for an opportunity to advance to the next round to win $10,000.

Maya is a rising 9th grade honor student at Savannah Country Day School and the proud daughter of Paul & Dr. Keenya Mosley.

In addition, Maya has been offered a scholarship from Savannah College of Art & Design.
