Remember That the Word of God is more to be depended upon than the word of any friend (Psalm 119:9)

That God actually means what he says.

That you are not to dictate to Him, but to let Him dictate to you (Ecclesiastes 5:2).

That when you accepted Christ as your personal Saviour, and believed Him for the remission of your sin through His blood, every sin you had committed was nailed to the cross (1 Peter 2:24).

That Christ is “able to keep you,” to guide you through this world, and finally to present you in good standing before God (Jude 24).

That nowhere in the Bible are you told to pay attention to your feelings. You are neither saved nor lost by them.

That if you fall, don’t stay down; get up, brush off the dust, and march on (Micah 7:8).

That if you make one misstep, and are led into sin, if you confess and sincerely repent of it, it is atoned for, and will be forgiven (1 John 1:9).

That the sentence “It’s no use” is not found in the grammar of faith.

That you are to say one final no to every temptation, and a ready yes to Jesus.

That it is a fine practice always to put off until tomorrow doing the sin that you may be tempted to do today. “Tomorrow” is a good wastebasket for temptations.

To take as good care of your soul as you do of your body: Clothe it with Christian influence, feed it on God’s Word, and pray every day.

To do something for Jesus in word or act at every opportunity that presents itself.

To join a live gospel church; that is, one where Christian living is emphasized above formality and theory, and where prayer meetings are preferred to socials. (2 Corinth. 6:14, 17-18)

A wise Man has said:

If you want to get up-step down;

If you want to be seen- get out of sight

If you want to be great-forget yourself Love Mama Thomas
