Holiday Community Extravaganza


Tattnall, Long and several area churches, pastors and businesses have combined their efforts to present one of the greatest Christmas extravaganza ever produced in this area. This event is scheduled for Saturday, December 21, 2013, 6-8:30PM at the Glennville City Auditorium in Glennville.

Two of the original one-act dramas written and directed by the acclaimed playwright, Mildred Elder, will be presented. “Good Will Toward Women”, which shows how misunderstandings can disrupt a church and community. The men will present “What We Really Need is Love”, the story of a young man who has been imprisoned and condemned to die for a murder he didn’t commit. The surprise ending shows the length to which a person will go to prove a point to his parent.

The spirit filled singing artist, Mrs. Robin Calhoun, from Moultrie, Georgia, will lift the holiday spirits of the audience with religious selections. Sean Brewton, one of the best mime instructors in Georgia, will give a fitting rendition of his teachings.

Mayor Roessler will assist in giving out toys and door prizes during the evening, and Pastor Boles will set the tone for the entire program with the Christmas story. Admission at the door is $5 for adults and $2 for children 12 and under. Friends, families, and acquaintances are invited to attend.
