On the day of Jesus ‘crucifixion, the heavens opened up and tears of sorrow poured out. The tears were not so much as to His dying on the cross because they know that He would live again in Heaven; But because His people did not believe on Him, The Son of God, who was sent to redeem the world from their Sin. Those who did not believe threw away their opportunity to be saved.
How many today are still in the state of rebellion and does not believe on the Son of man? When one turns away from our Loving, Kind and merciful God, Heaven cries. The Bible states that when one sinner repents and comes to Christ, the Angels in heaven rejoices; so doesn’t it make sense that when one denies Christ or rebels, the Angels shed tears over that soul? ( Matt 27; Mark 15, and Luke 23). “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16)
Let me tell you this little story. One day Satan and Jesus were having a conversation. Satan had just come from the Garden of Eden and he was gloating and boasting. Yes sir, I just caught the world full of people down there. See me trap, use bait I knew they couldn’t resist. Got’em all! What are you going to do with them? Jesus asked. Satan answered, “Oh, I’m gonna have fun! I’m gonna teach them how to marry and divorce each other, how to hate and abuse each other, how to drink and smoke and curse. I’m gonna teach them how to invent guns and bombs and kill each other. I’m really gonna have fun!”
And what will you do when you get done with them? Jesus asked. Satan said, Oh, I’ll kill ‘em. Satan glared proudly. How much do you want for them? Jesus asked. Oh, you don’t want those people. They ain’t no good. Why, you’ll take them and they’ll just hate you. They’ll spit on you, curse you and kill you!! You don’t want those people!
How much? He asked again. Satan looked at Jesus and sneered. “All your tears and All your blood.” Jesus said, “Done!” Then He paid the price.
Isn’t it funny how we believe what the newspaper say, but questions what the Bible says? Isn’t it funny how everyone wants to go to heaven provided they do not have to believe, think, say, or do anything the Bible says? Or is it scary?” Isn’t it funny how someone can say, “I believe in God” but still follow Satan (who by the way also believes in God)?
When Jesus forgave sinners, He always admonished them by saying, “go and sin no more.” What He meant was, forgiveness was theirs, but they had to make the effort to not commit the same transgressions over and over again. When you consider your actions; what are the sins you tend to commit over and over? If you can recognize this weakness, you can offer it to God and set forth to conquer it. Are you a liar? Do you steal? Do you bend the rules for your own advantage? Look into your heart and be honest. Don’t indulge in the all too human frailty of rationalizing your actions.
Go and sin no more is a powerful command. However; to truly be forgiven you must not only ask for forgiveness. But you must be sincere in your heart and want to change. Only then can you receive mercy. Only then will the Holy Spirit help you to sin no more and to live a better life. All by being transformed in the renewing of your mind in Christ Jesus – where old things pass away and Behold (look) All things have become New!!!
If an unsaved man could see how good the Lord is to his people. If they could see the way He loves, and cares for us. He helps us every day in so many ways; encourages, strengthens, protects, guides, satisfies every longing of our hearts, keeps in peace amid the troubles about us, delivering us from worry, fear and evil habits to keep us filled with His Spirit until we enter into that external life in Heaven. If an unsaved person could see into the “kingdom of God,” he would see that there is real happiness in our Savior, Jesus Christ, and in Him only. To all unbelievers,, to all who are unsaved – STOP” making Heaven’s Tears flow, by obeying the desires of the flesh in your hearts like: going to theaters to see evil, wicked movies, even on television which influences your thinking (“as a man thinketh, so is he”, Proverbs. 23:7); dances, playing cards, drinking, smoking, loving money . These are a few desires of a natural worldly man. (Isaiah 64:6). Stop Heaven’s Tears by being born of the Spirit of God and become a citizen of Heaven (John 3:6). Romans 10:9-10 says humble yourselves before our Mighty God and He will forgive you and accept you into His kingdom. Let Heaven Rejoice!!! Pray this prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, I realize that I am a sinner and come short of your kingdom in heaven. I am sincerely making a decision in my heart to turn away from sin by asking you to forgive me. I accept your Son Jesus as the personal Savior of my soul and His transformation by the renewing of my mind in Him.. II believe Jesus died for me, so that I MAY LIVE FOR Him in truth and in Spirit. So I thank you now for my soul’s salvation in Jesus’ name. Amen.
God Bless you and keep you is my prayer for you. Rachel Thomas AKA Mama Rachel
