Recently, I’ve had lots of questions about juicing and blending fruits and veggies. Both are great in there own best use.

I feel that for most adult persons who want to get more nutrients from food, and are working toward a healthier lifestyle, blending is the way to go.

Blending essentially is using a high speed blender to liquefy whole fruits and veggies, to drink. Getting more of the 13 servings of fresh fruits and veggies pre day for good health, becomes a snap. More about that next time.

Today, what about juicing? Making fresh juice in the juicer is also a great way to quickly incorporate more raw food into your diet. By juicing fruits and veggies, you not only get more nutrients from the foods, than by cooking, but, the body can more quickly assimilate the nutrients.

Immediate nutrition, with no cooking, and no chewing. From the glass to the small intestine and into the blood stream. This is extremely easy for the body to handle. Because it does not activate the digestive system, it is perfect for persons with digestive tract issues. Whatever they may be. But also for very ill persons.

Now, the amount of nutrients – pure nutrients – one can consume per glass, is perfect for the person who is in need of healing, has difficulty eating, chewing or keeping food down, or the person who has no appetite, and is especially good for the person being feed via a feeding tube.

The right combination of vegetables for juicing can very easily save the life of the sick. Many juicers are costly, but the savvy shopper can find a great deal with minimal effort. Ask around, also, many folk have one they are not using.

The good news is that persons getting high volumes of fresh organic vegetables in the form of juice three to four times each day, can regain health quickly and easily. One of the best advantages of juicing is the body’s ability to absorb a lot more nutrients, faster.

For a healing formula, think variety. Think of making a big salad. Wash clean, cut, and process in the juicer and drink. Fresh wonderful minerals and vitamins to feed hungry starving cells.

If you take up juicing, try to get in at least 16 oz of juice per day. Lots of veggies, and maybe a small amount of fruit to improve the taste, until you become accustomed to the raw veggie juices.

Some new juicers come apart, and can be cleaned in the dishwasher. Next time, all about blending.
