Blending is a great way to quickly get more raw food into your daily eating plan.

Rushing out the door in the mornings, or, you don’t like to eat breakfast? This is the perfect solution. Wash your fruits and veggies, keep in the fridge. Put them into the blender for 1-2 minuets. Pour into your favorite travel mug, and you are out the door and on your way. No cooking, heating, or chewing. Portable high quality nutrients to go.

Blending releases more of the juice from both fruits and vegetables. The fiber remains and therefore slows the release of sugars from the fruit, so not to cause the blood sugar to spike. This is great also because the diet most Americans eat today is terribly deficit in fiber. Fiber plays an important role in human health, by keeping the body’s elimination system regular (good bowel movements) and detoxifying our internal systems.

Blended fruits and vegetables are better for the majority of persons because it retains all the fiber. Plus, fruits and vegetables contains great phytonutrients or phytochemicals, which are potent micronutrients, powerful and vital for our good health.

Blending uses the whole fruit or vegetable ( cut off any ugly spots, of course). Nothing is thrown away. It all goes into your body. There are 100’s of known phytonutrients in fruits and vegetables. Because some nutrients may still be undiscovered in foods, there is a great possibility that with juicing some vital phytonutrients are discarded along with the fiber. ( Still, juicing is an excellent choice for the right person, and sometimes the only choice).

Fruits and vegetables alkalize and oxygenate the cells of the body, thereby fortifying the immune system, and strengthening it against enemies such as cancer, heart disease, diabetes, arthritis, emphysema and more. The digestion of protein causes the production of acidic byproducts that the body has to neutralize ( think meat based diet).

Using a high speed blender is the best way to open the cell walls of your favorite veggies and fruits to release these nutrients to be easily absorbed into the blood stream. Blending is the easiest way to increase your intake of raw fresh fruits and veggies which helps to naturally balance hormones, enzymes and phytonutrients, vital components necessary for healthy pH of the body.

Generally, I think that blending is the better choice for most persons. It is easy to do, easy to clean up, and the choices of recipes to suit the individuals taste are endless. This is a great way to improve your health from wherever you are, today. If you have a chronic disease or are working
