It is SAD what we eat as a society, as a part of our standard diet. In this country, the majority of the population eats poor-quality, cheap foods. Why poor?, Because we don’t want to spend money for food. We opt for the cheapest available.
And food manufacturers are ready to oblige, with governmental assistance. So what we seek are foods that have been stripped of all nutrients. For example, instant rice, refined wheat breads, enriched pastas, and sugar coated cereals.
We purchase an abundance of prepackaged, instant pre-made and commercially prepared foods. More than one fourth of the population eats at fast food restaurants each day.
We do not eat nearly enough fresh fruits and veggies, therefore we are over fed and mal-nourished. This means that we eat plenty of foods, yet, we are starving…… to disease, and …..to death!
We are selecting foods that cannot provide the nutrition a body needs, to maintain health. And certainly cannot provide nutrients for healing. And so our sick bodies are over burdened with diabetes, heart attacks, obesity, brittle bones, chronic pain, and epidemic cancer rates.
Where to start?, Start with the commitment to honor the body by setting a new standard of care. The right foods, the right rest, the right exercise, the right water, the right sunlight and the right nutrients and prayer. Given what it needs, the body can do the rest on its own.
