Are Vaccines Safe?

Two days later Jason was hospitalized with a high fever. Jason has never been the same, and has never spoken another word. Since the 1980s, critics have questioned the safety and effectiveness of vaccines. Government health officials and most doctors insist the benefits are great and the problems overstated.

A recent survey of more than 10,000 families suggests the problems are much more than inflated. And has revealed that teenage boys vaccinated as children were: twice as likely to suffer from autism, four times as likely to have Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder and boys and girls of all ages – vaccinated as children – were more than twice as likely to develop asthma.

Today more than 5,000 families have started proceedings against the government because they believe vaccines caused their child’s autism, or other devastating illness.

“That’s crazy, why would you not vaccinate your child?” Anna Morrison believed. “You want to put your child in danger of developing those diseases? And so I really did think these people were way out there.”

However, her mind was quickly changed one March when a doctor found that her 8-year-old daughter, Karri, had toxic levels of mercury – a preservative used in vaccines until recently.

Years later young Karri had a flu shot, Anna became suspicious, saying, “It was almost a depression, and she was having… negative thoughts that bothered her and she would say, ‘Mommy I’m having the bad thoughts again.’ We would pray for them to go away– it was very upsetting.”

On reflection, Anna was able to connect changes in Karri’s behavior from a toddler – changes noticed after she was vaccinated. Changes like the sudden sensitivity to clothes and heat, sent her screaming and pulling at her clothes, and the sudden onset of allergies. Karri showed some improvement after going on a healthy diet several years ago, but still struggled. Now with medical treatment to remove the mercury, taking supplements, and a diet free of wheat and milk, she’s doing lots better. There is no way to know how many families struggle with changed children after immunizations – from the tiniest damage – from ADHD up to the worst, autism. Mercury was been removed from children’s vaccines but not from flu shots, and vaccines still contain aluminum and dozens of other potentially harmful ingredients. Ingredients such as monosodium glutamate, or MSG – a potentially toxic flavor enhancer in some foods.

What parents need to know is, said one Doctor, “If there are glutamate-bearing ingredients in that vaccine, think twice. Because science has proven for the last three decades that glutamate has a huge ( negative ) effect on living beings.” Mercury, aluminum, and MSG are powerful activators, linking brain damage with vaccines.

So what can parents do to at least minimize side effects? Alert your physician of any family history of nervous system or autoimmune disorders. Know the side effects of the Vaccine, and monitor your child closely. Do not vaccinate a sick child or who has previously had a bad reaction to vaccine. Do not give multiple vaccines on the same day, especially to infants. Know that to build a strong immune system requires good nutrition, especially during childhood.
