Looking Good From The Inside

Nutrition is the key to a healthy life. It is time to get the right information about what health is, and what constitutes a healthy choice. I bring to clients the newest and best information on how to stop the progression of illness, and where possible to reverse illness. We have been able to bring considerable, measurable results in nearly 100 percent of clients. We can help you, too! Call me, let’s talk about your health!

We tend to spend lots of money for creams, potions and lotions and miracle pills to make our skin, hair, eyes and teeth look good.

And even more for the wrinkles and freckles, to lighten and tighten, and to soften, smooth, brighten, and lift the dull layer of another year or two, and erase the accompanying stress!

Nothing applied to the outside can do what a few fresh ingredients applied to the inside can do to achieve beautiful, flawless skin, shining strong hair, and clear white eyes. Beautiful from the inside out.

Sure, we know that fresh fruits and veggies strengthen the heart, liver and kidneys, but that is not nearly as sexy as flashing bright eyes, beautiful taunt skin and the self confidence that accompanies. So, here is what you need to know:

Red Cabbage contains sulfur and iodine, for cleansing the body inside ,detoxifying and fighting acne, and other skin problems.

Beets (in all colors), and beetroot contain betaine which helps to breakdown fats, and aids in digestion. Try it in your salads. Drizzle coconut oil in your salads for the additional vitamin E to reduce wrinkles. Use with balsamic vinaigrette, sea salt and you’ve got the perfect salad dressing.

Broiled or grilled fish, offers the perfect protein for nails, hair, teeth and that lovely smile. While the omega 3’s strengthen the heart and other muscles.

Kiwifruit, guava and blueberries are very high in antioxidants, potassium and other anti-inflammatories, which neutralize free radicals that are very damaging to skin, causing premature aging, wrinkles and a dull appearance. They are also rich in vitamin C, which is one of the major cancer fighters.

Spinach and kale, nutrient dense leafy greens, are a great source of beta-carotene and lutein great for keeping the eyes clear and beautiful, along with strengthening night vision.

Sweet potatoes are full of beta-carotene, which the body is able to convert to vitamin A, which keeps the skin smooth and protects against sun damage.

Tomatoes, fresh or canned, raw or cooked are a major source of lycopene, a potent antioxidant also protects against sun damage, and great for the prostate.

Walnuts, raw, are a wonderful source of omega-3 fatty acids and vitamin E. The omega-3s found in walnuts also help fight against skin ailments like psoriasis and eczema.

My favorite, dark – dark chocolate, is full of antioxidants and nutrients. Select one with at least 60 percent cocoa. It increases blood flow to the skin, which in turn boosts hydration and smoothness.

The potassium in bananas, keeps the skin elastic and fights that sagging of the skin itself, but also the underlying muscle tone is preserved.

Eggs are high in iron and sulfur, giving us lots of energy, but also helps to discourage hair loss, even in persons with familial balding.

Maybe its time to take a new look into your grocery cart, I think you’ll notice that these very same foods will also improve your mind, memory, mood, energy, outlook and overall sense of wellbeing. And, you will look marvelous, from the inside out.
