Girls on the Run works to empower young girls to live their lives to the fullest. To that end, we will be hosting an inspirational event at the National Museum of the Mighty Eighth Air Force on Sunday April 23rd from 2:00 – 4:00. Betty Robarts, a WWII veteran, will speak about her experiences while encouraging the audience to follow their dreams and fulfill their limitless potential. Our guests will be able to visit the the “Fly Girls” exhibit with their admission ticket. Our style show, Girls on the Runway 2017, will highlight the great diversity of our girls, coaches, volunteers and board members, focusing on their unique talents. Confidence and self esteem are truly for everyone! A silent auction and refreshments will also be offered. All proceeds will go to the Scholarship Fund of Girls on the Run, enabling ALL girls to participate in this transformational program.
