At this special season of the year, our minds are more focused upon peace and blessings. We thank our Lord, as we look back over the year 2013, we can say with candor, “the Lord is good, his mercy is everlasting and his truth endures to all generations.” In spite of the present situations and circumstances which surround us as a Christian nation, we can still say we are blessed; blessed to have you and your family as our friends and the Christ child as our Savior.
We urge you, as we are doing, to pray to God for peace among his people. If there is anything this nations needs for Christmas, it is peace and justice toward all men. Peace was the theme of the Angelic Choir, as they announced the birth of the Savior of the world. They sang, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men” (Luke 2:14). Our prayer for you and your family is that the Prince of Peace will give you that peace during this Christmas season and through the New Year which only he can give. Philippians
4:7 puts it like this, “The peace of God which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and mind through Christ Jesus.”
So, Thank you and yours for being our friends, and for doing all of the wonderful things you do. Have a blessed, happy, and merry Christmas, and a prosperous New Year. Because he lives!!!
