Four Local Mothers Honored

The children and grandchildren of Henrietta Wilhite-Buxton, Lee Arthur Malone, Marion Dobson and Lula Kennedy held an appreciation Mother’s Day Brunch in their honor. Judy Wilhite- Mincey, Stacy Heath-Martin and Lejoy Dobson- Campell were the hostesses for this beautiful affair.

The brunch was held on Saturday, May 12 at the lovely home of Stacy Heath- Martin of Pooler, Georgia. The theme for this event was “Remembering Our Women of Integrity, Faith, Strength and Perseverance.” Judy Wilhite-Mincey gave an inspirational message commending the honorees on being positive role models and pillars of strength, especially for the women in the family. Barbara Heath gave an uplifting prayer and grace followed by lunch.

The beautiful ladies in pink as they were affectionately called, enjoyed the lavish dishes and deserts prepared by the hostesses. The honorees were later entertained through song and dance by their grandchildren, Jalaine Mincey, Joye Martin, JoAna Martin and Little Sydnei Campbell.

The afternoon ended with radiant smiles during a celebration toast in recognition and appreciation of “Four of Savannah’s Finest Mothers.” Others in attendance were Beverly Wilhite, Delorise Wilhite, Britney Wilhite and Erica Parker.
