Earnest Wilson III spent three years as the head football coach at Savannah State. Wilson, who had a 2-32 record with the Tigers, recently resigned as the SSU head coach and was hired as the head football coach at Elizabeth City State on February 20. Wilson, who celebrates his 51st birthday on March 30, is no stranger to ECSU, having served as the Vikings offensive coordinator/ recruiting coordinator/ quarterbacks/wide receiver and offensive line coach from 1996-98.
