First African Baptist Church Of East Savannah Honors 2014 Graduates


The First African Baptist Church of East Savannah, 402 Treat Avenue, along with the PJ Jones Foundation will honor our 2014 Graduates on Sunday, June 8th at 11:00 a.m.

Dr. Rebecca R. Cooper will be the keynote speaker. She is a product of First African Baptist Church of East Savannah and the community. She has gained their respect and admiration through her winning personal style and commitment to her family, church and the various communities where she lived.

Dr. Cooper has been employed by Savannah-Chatham Schools in several capacities. She retired from the Glynn County School system as Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources. Additionally she worked for the Jasper County School System from 2007-2010 as their Executive Director for Personnel Services.

Dr. Cooper is very civicaly involved, she has served on several boards. She is an active member of Gamma Sigma Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority and the Savannah Links. You are invited to our Worship Service honoring our 2014 Graduates. Rev. Dr. Thomas E. Williams is the Pastor.
