First African Baptist Church Of East Savannah Celebrates 120th Church Anniversary

“The Body of Christ – The Church” is the theme for the celebration of the 120th Church Anniversary of First African Baptist Church of East Savannah, 402 Treat Avenue, where the Rev. Dr. Thomas E. Williams is the Pastor. The celebration will begin Sunday, August 20th at 11:00 a.m. with First African Baptist Church of East Savannah Day and culminates Sunday, August 27th. Services will begin nightly at 7:00pm.

The churches joining in our celebration are: Monday, August 22nd – Happy Home Baptist Church, Bishop K. E. McNeal ; Tuesday, August 23rd – College Park Baptist Church, Rev. Charles O’Berry, Jr.; Wednesday, August 24th – St. Thomas Baptist, Chaplin (Rev) Jimmie Mikell ; Thursday, August 25th – Wilmington Baptist Church, Rev. Joey Horton, Sr.; Friday, August 26th – Litway Baptist Church, Rev. Dr. Leonard Smalls ; Sunday, August 28th – Holy Communion at 11:00am St. Mary’s A.M.E. Church, Rev. Lester Foster – 6:00 p.m.
