On November 13, 2015, Savannah, GA native, Dr. Miller Bargeron, Jr. received the Golden Rule International Award from iChange Nations TM and was also appointed as a World Peace Ambassador of the Golden Rule. Dr. Clyde Rives, Ambassador at Large for the Republic of Burundi Africa, bestowed these distinguished honors upon Dr. Bargeron at the iChange Nations Golden Rule International Award ceremony in Washington, DC. iChange Nations™ is a professional institution that equips, mentors and trains highly esteemed individuals who have the desire to change nations throughout the world. The Golden Rule International Award is established in 120 nations and affiliated with the United Nations’ Interfaith Peace-Building Initiative (IPI), the African Union, and the United Religions Initiative (URI).
Dr. Bargeron is a filmmaker and the managing partner of We Came To Conquer Entertainment, LLC (WCTC), which he co-founded with his wife Vikke Kearse Bargeron. WCTC is a film production company that focuses on changing perceptions creatively through films. Dr. Bargeron was appointed a World Peace Ambassador because of his humanitarian voice through films, such as the award winning film “Stubborn As A Mule.” As a powerful, eye opening historical documentary, “Stubborn As A Mule” won several international awards, including the Africa Movie Academy Award (Nigeria, Africa).
As an Ambassador of World Peace, Dr. Bargeron will work with Ambassadors around the world to promote the “Golden Rule” and establish a global culture of honor. The Golden Rule simply states, “Treat others the way you want to be treated.” Dr. Bargeron said, “My ambassadorial message is simple, ‘Know Your History.’ If you do not know your history, we will never have peace. When we learn our history, we can understand the mistakes of the past, correct them, and build toward a peaceful future. First and foremost, the peace we seek starts within each individual.”
Ambassador Dr. Clyde Rivers is the Founder and President of iChange Nations™ and the Human Rights Global Congress™.
