Driven To Pray

The world is changing. Some people have become blind to the love of Christ and have been deceived into following the cunning traps of Satan (Ref: 2Timothy 4:4 ). So many are willing to stand on everything but the Word of God, finding fault with the Truth and rationalizing the lies. The world’s decision should never cause fear in the Believer but provide accurate evidence that God is coming soon. It should promote a yearning to pray and a wisdom to ask God for strategy in theses times. Not only should we cover ourselves in prayer but we should seek God for the lost as well.

We are in a spiritual battle and our weapons of choice are not man-made but are produced by God (Ref: 2 Corinthians 10:4). As Believers, we have been equipped to face this world with faith, assurance, joy, and the full armor of God (Ref: Ephesians 6:10-19). We serve a God who hears his people and responds (Ref: 1John 5:14). Not one person or demonic force can take the salvation freely given to us by the Lamb of God. If we understand what we have, there should be nothing that can persuade us, bend, or entice us to walk away from the Truth. We have been redeemed, set apart, and have been bought with a price. Many times we get so caught up in our own lives that we forget this life is not or own (Ref:1Corinthians 6:19-20).

God has given us a standard to live by (Ref: Ephesians 1:4). We are not to gossip, talk down to, condemn, or give our personal opinions on another’s situation. God did not ask us to tell people what we think, He told us to tell people what He thinks, and if anyone doesn’t know He loves them to LIFE, wants to free them, and is the BETTER way. They can come as they are and God will reveal to them what He has called them to be. The growing need in this world is love, compassion, and prayer. I urge you to tap in and pray not disengage.

It’s impossible to keep your mouth shut if you believe God’s Word. It’s impossible to profess you are a Christian if you do not follow His ways. He went after people. He prayed constantly to His Father. He sacrificed His time, energy, and life for a people who did not understand or recognize Him (Ref: John 1:10). Yet not one time did Jesus walk away and say “I can’t do it, they’re all going to hell” He continued. So I challenge you to continue. Pray! It’s not pointless and it works. Yes, the world is growing further away from the Truth, but it’s as prophesied (Ref: 2Timothy 3:2). We can’t lose hope. There are lives that God has designated for us to witness to. God’s not done with the worst of us yet. Many will come to know the Lord and be greater disciples than some of us. Our opened mouths may be another’s salvation. So cry out to God on behalf of all God’s people. You are God’s vessel. Pray!
