District Attorney Announces New Staff Appointments


 
 

The Office of Eastern Judicial Circuit/Chatham County District Attorney Larry Chisolm announced the hire and re-assignment of two staff members.

Jeffrey A. Felser has accepted the position of Assistant District Attorney, in the State Court Division. He will prosecute misdemeanor cases in front of Judge Gregory V. Sapp. Mr. Felser is a Savannah native and a graduate of Savannah High School. Mr. Felser has over 20 years of trial experience as an attorney. He obtained his Bachelors of Arts, Magna Cum Laude, in Political Science from the University of Georgia and his Juris Doctor from Mercer University Walter F. George School of Law. Prior to the Office of the District Attorney, Mr. Felser served many years representing the citizens of Savannah on the Savannah City Council as Alderman at Large, Post 2. Geoffrey A. Alls has been reassigned to the position of felony trial prosecutor in the Superior Court Division of the DA’s Office. He will practice in front of Superior Court Judge Penny H. Freesemann. Mr. Alls is a Savannah native and a graduate of A. E. Beach High School. An honor graduate of Morehouse College, Mr. Alls earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Georgia School of Law. Prior to joining the DA’s Office last June, Mr. Alls gained trial experience as a Public Defender in both the Macon and Western Judicial Circuits, representing clients in all divisions to include persons, drugs, property, and juvenile cases. He is also the current president of the Port City Bar Association of Savannah and is the son of the late local attorney, Howard Alls.
