Daughters of Isis Begin Centennial Celebration


 
 

Sunday, January 31,2010 began 100 years for Daughters of Isis (Isisdom) Centennial Celebration.

Omar Court No. 91 Daughters of Isis, a constitute court of The Imperial Court, Daughters of Isis began the celebration with a worship service at Canaan Community Church, located at 2401 Elgin Street, where Antonie E. Walker is Senior Servant.

An inspiring Message was delivered by Walker, “Recipe for being prosperous and successful in life.” His message was taken from the book of Joshua 1:6-9.

All Daughters of Isis were in observance of “World Day of Worship” throughout the domain of the United States, as well as Canada, the Bahamas, Germany, Italy, and Japan. Illustrious Potentate Thomas E. Jackson and Nobles of Omar Temple No. 21, Prince Hall Shriners were in attendance also.

The Daughters of Isis is a charitable and benevolent organization focusing on a variety of programs including: education scholarship, health, volunteer activities with youth and senior citizens, NAACP, March of Dimes and HIV / AIDS Awareness.
