Connors Temple Baptist Church will observe its Annual Harvest Day Celebration on Sunday, October 17, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. Worship Service. The service will take place on its “Worship Without Walls” parking lot stage at 510 West Gwinnett Street, across from the church.
The theme for this year’s celebration is “What would you leave behind?” taken from Leviticus 19:9- 10.
The speaker for the occasion is Dr. Cheryl E. Powell, a native of Pahokee, Florida, and daughter of well-known Florida revivalists and pastors, the late Overseer Willie and the late Delores B. Powell. Under their tutelage, she developed a rich faith in Christ and birthed Kingdom Builders Worship Center (KBWC) in 2008, located in Pompano Beach, Florida. A non-denominational ministry, KBWC’s main focus is to build people; in which the Motto is: “We Live, Learn, and Grow”.
Graced with a keen prophetic anointing, Dr. Cheryl passionately delivers the Word of God with conviction and clarity for life application. She is known for her strategic approach to ministry and has fostered biblical principles as well as developed prudent methodologies for Church Administration, Organization, and Growth.
In the midst of a pandemic God has graced Dr. Powell to flourish, in which she now oversees Kingdom Covenant Circle, wherein she covers three thriving Ministries. Also, in June 2020, Dr. Powell launched Kingdom Builders Worship Center’s second location in Lake Worth, Florida.
Dr. Cheryl studied at Galilee Ministries Chaplaincy & Pastoral University in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Currently she holds a credential as a National recognized Chaplain, and she has earned her Master’s in Divinity and Doctorate in Christian Education.
