“BRAVO in the Lights” was the theme of the Annual Fundraiser for BRAVO Music Company, Inc., the nonprofit organization that sponsors this year’s 13th Annual Music Camp for aspiring musicians, ages, 5 to 18.

The fundraiser luncheon was held Saturday, March 26, 2011, at the Marriott Savannah Riverfront. This event showcased students of BRAVO and alumni of BRAVO.

The performers included trumpet, Alfredo Small; piano, Brianna Harris, Gabrille Harris, Deja´ Gillans, Jessica Hannon, Janielle Hannon, Arthur Small and alumni, Daryl Parris, an accompanist; voice, Bless Loadholt and alumni, Brandis Smith; violin,

The Little Mozarts, Brianna Harris, Gabrille Harris, Deja´ Gillans and Mina Smith, and the Preps, Marcus Hannon, Megan Bostic, Jessica Hannon and Keionte Wade, performed “So Long, Farewell” from The Sound of Music as the finale.

In addition to performances by “BRAVO in the Lights,” a jazz combo entertained the guests, featuring Mr. Tony B. Jackson on trombone, Mr. Michael Nestor on tenor saxophone, and Mr. Richard Sherrington on keyboard.

Orchestral Music, looks forward to a successful music camp this summer, July 5, 2011 (Tuesday) through July 11, 2011 (Monday through Friday) at DeRenne Middle School. Early bird registration, prior to May 12 is $360; after May 12, 2011, registration is $385. A family with two or more children is eligible for a reduction in tuition. Also, opportunities are available to sponsor a child to attend camp.
