On Monday, May 19, 2014, Nariel Tribble, a sophomore at Woodville Tompkins Technical & Career High School, received the Exploring Intern of the Year award during the school’s annual award ceremony. Nariel served as Exploring Program Intern during the 2013-14 school year, collecting and processing Explorer Post applications, creating databases and designing marketing materials to promote the program at her school, such as flyers, bulletin boards and presentations.

Barbara Foley, Marketing and Outreach director for the Coastal Georgia Council Boy Scouts of America said, “She was highly recommended for the position by her Work-based Learning coordinator, Linda Minor, as well as her Marketing Teacher, Elizabeth Pitts. Nariel exceeded my expectations, going above and beyond the job description. Every week, she asked me for more work than I gave her, and completed it with speed and accuracy.”
