John Hall, of Savannah, GA, has qualified for re-election for third term for Savannah City Council – District 3. John has been a City Alderman since 2012. John is eager to continue strengthening communities of District 3 in public safety, road and infrastructure improvements, and enhancing greater responsive Savannah City Government.
“Citizens reach upward mobility through self-sufficiency gaining skills to heighten their wages; ultimately their socio economic status. Improving upward mobility for District 3 residents is accomplished through the development of public/ private partnerships to invest in local communities. Implementing job training programs & learning entrepreneurial skills elevates the entire 3rd City Council District,” said John.
“As your 3rd District Alderman, I will also continue to advocate for more parks & playgrounds,” said Hall. “Just as important, as your City Alderman for Savannah City Council – District 3, I will focus on SPLOST for future road improvements for enhancing road infrastructure for pavement & potholes, and for traffic-calming; however, also, to direct citizens concerns as Savannah City Alderman for District 3,” said John.
“My greatest focus is working with citizens of District 3 build community strength in partnership with Savannah citizens and City Council, as in ensuring opening of new police precinct on Eastside on Victory Drive & Downing Avenue, reduce blighted properties, provide performance based budget, reduce call-response time, and extended community center hours to provide youth with activities during 2019 summer,” said John. “I always encourage district citizens to call me directly with any Savannah City concerns; call me; let’s sit & talk,” says John.
John Hall was born and raised in Thunderbolt, Georgia. As a member of the Georgia Municipal Association (GMA), John has completed over 270 education hours through the Carl Vinson Institute – University of Georgia in earnest to perform at the highest level of successful leadership as Alderman for Savannah City Council -District 3. John is a graduate of Sol C. Johnson High School (Class of 1969). John is a Landscape Maintenance Supervisor for Savannah-Chatham County Public Schools.
