Chatham County Youth Commission Presents the UniverSoul Circus

UniverSoul Circus encourages fans of all ages to “Let Some Fun Shine In” as it debuts the 2010 season with an all-new show WE PLAY TOO….MUCH! The Chatham County Commission is proud to bring the circus back to Savannah March 31- April 4. A highlight of the tour here in Savannah will be the “Crowns” Exhibition on April 4, where local women will have the opportunity to model their most festive hats.

Remember how much fun you use to have playing with family and friends?

UniverSoul Circus sets the stage where generations of family can come together and enjoy each other dancing in the aisles and singing songs that span the last six decades from Motown classics to today’s Top 40.

At UniverSoul Circus guests witness the feats of world class acts like Chinese aerialists performing a synchronized aerial dance never seen before in the United States; the hottest stunt basketball, acrodunk players in the world, from Holland and Belgium; an entourage of contortionists bend and twist their bodies beyond human limits; and a furious tiger act.

At UniverSoul Circus, the audience is always part of the show. Fans are forewarned because under the Big Top of hip hop, you never know when you might wind up in the center ring-doing your thing!

Actor, comedian, impersonator, and Ringmaster Anthony Luewellyn a.k.a “Tony Tone” returns full of play and swagger under the Big Top with his quick wit, and unique style. Tony has performed across the country, sharing the stage with comedians such as Chris Rock, Jamie Foxx and most recently in Tyler Perry’s movie, I Can do Bad All by Yourself.

Let the fun begin! The UniverSoul Circus continues its surge to the top of the live entertainment ranks with its interactive funky rendition of traditional circus. UniverSoul Circus is rated as one of the top three circuses in America along with Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey and Cirque de Soleil.
