CEMA officials held a press conference on Tuesday, April 7 to announce the completion of the installation of Emergency Warning Sirens throughout the county.

Also, Lamar Advertising will provide complimentary siren campaign through their digital billboards.

This siren system is used by CEMA to alert residents of potentially dangerous conditions.

Upon activation of this system, the siren will produce a steady 3-minute tone which indicates an emergency condition exists in your area.

This Emergency Warning System is scheduled to be tested at noon the first Wednesday of each month.
