Celebrate Chanukah At The Chanukah CARnival On Sunday, December 13

The Savannah Jewish community is celebrating Chanukah by hosting a Community Chanukah CARnival at the Jewish Educational Alliance (5111 Abercorn Street) on Sunday, December 13 from 4:00 – 5:30 PM.

This drive-through event is a way for the community to come together to celebrate Chanukah in a safe & socially distanced way – while still getting out of the house and having something to do!

Participants will drive through the JEA Parking Lot and stop by all 8 booths to collect Chanukah goodies – and then have the opportunity to hop out of their car and take a family picture at our Chanukah photo booth. Each booth (sponsored by different Jewish organizations in Savannah), will be handing out Chanukah treats – from latkes to crafts to donuts and more.

While participants are waiting for the next booth, they can listen to Chanukah tunes and participate in Chanukah trivia to win some awesome prizes.

The Jewish Educational Alliance & Savannah Jewish Federation have partnered with Congregation Agudath Achim, Congregation Mickve Israel, Chabad of Savannah, Shalom School and Hadassah – Savannah Chapter to bring this fun and unique Chanukah experience to the community.

The event is free and open to the public. This is an opportunity for the Jewish community to share the holiday of Chanukah with everyone.
