Business Leader Brooks Stillwell to Speak at the Hungry Club Forum

The Hungry Club Forum of Savannah, Inc. will host its monthly, Signature Roundtable Breakfast and Open Forum, on Saturday Oct. 6, 2012, in the Multipurpose Room of the Main Building of the West Broad Street YMCA, located at 1110 May Street, at 9:30 AM. Part 4 in a series of community roundtable discussions on Workforce Development, Jobs Creation and Community Economic Development will be presented.

Businessman and attorney W. Brooks Stillwell has accepted the invitation to speak in his capacity as head point person for the Savannah Economic Development’s Workforce Action Team. In this capacity Stillwell interacts with the area’s business and industrial leaders, such as Gulfstream, JCB, Mitsubishi, and others, along with educational and training institutions in raising the level of capabilities of the local labor and job skills pool.

Stillwell, a former Savannah City Alderman and Mayor Pro Tempore, was recently appointed as the next City Attorney for the City of Savannah. He is a partner at Hunter Maclean Exley and Dunn, PC, concentrating his practice in the areas of commercial real estate, business litigation, and bankruptcyworkouts. The Hungry Club Forum activities are open to the public.
