Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos couldn’t have asked for a better way to bring in the New Year by winning Super Bowl 50. Manning has been in the NFL for 18 years and there’s still no indication on rather he decides to retire after winning his second ring. Manning is also the first quarterback to win two Super Bowls on two different teams.
The Carolina Panthers almost perfect season came to an end after reaching the end zone only once. It wasn’t too much ‘dabbing” for the Cam and the Panthers, the Broncos defense was too much for Carolina’s offensive line giving Cam no time to make a play down field. It was a nightmare for Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers offense. The Panthers turned the ball over 4 times, by throwing one interception and fumbling the ball 3 times.
It wasn’t Peyton Manning who won Super Bowl MVP. It was Broncos outside linebacker, Von Miller, who had two stripsack fumbles of Panthers quarterback Cam Newton, that was named Super Bowl Most Valuable Player.
Gary Kubiak became the first coach to win a Super Bowl for the same team for which he was a player in the Super Bowl. He joins Tom Flores (Raid- ers) and Mike Ditka (Bears) as the third coach in history to win the Super Bowl as a head coach for a team he played for.
Kubiak is known for his running attack offensive and coached it to perfection by giving his workhorse running back C.J. Anderson the ball 23 times that led to 90 yards and a 2 yard rushing touchdown.
Super Bowl 50 will be a game to remember with neither quarter back throwing a touchdown pass the entire game. With an attendance of71, 088 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California you have the say the fans got there money worth’s.
