BRAVO In the Lights

The Annual Fundraiser Luncheon for BRAVO Music Company, Inc., on Saturday, March 27, 2010, at the Marriott Savannah Riverfront, was a grand success.

Entertainment during lunch was by Jazz Combo, a jazz group of students from Armstrong Atlantic State University, headed by an alumnus of BRAVO, Leah Hannon. “BRAVO in the Lights,” performances by BRAVO students, was entertainment during the second part of luncheon: violin, Eric Gadson; piano, Janielle Hannon; flute, Lauren Mixon; recorder, Luke Hannon; singers, Marcus Hannon, Megan Bostic, Jessica Hannon, Keionte Wade, Zariyah Cope, Deja´ Gillans (piano as well), and Mina Smith (violin as well). are in grades kindergarten through high school.

The class for the youngest musicians, five through eight, is Little Mozarts.

The Music Director, Rose Marie Smith, and the President of the Board, Johnye Gillans, acknowledged appreciation to BRAVO students, their parents, former students, former parents, SONATA (Sponsors of New and Talented Artists), and the community at large.

This Fundraiser supports the BRAVO Summer Music Camp and scholarships for students to attend.

This year’s camp, in it’s twelfth year will be held at DeRenne Middle School, July 6 through July 16, 2010.
