Karen Bogans, Communication Manager, International Paper, has been invited to participate in IP’s forum on African-American Diversity sponsored by the Chairman’s Diversity Council.
Bogans will be joined by her peers from across the country representing all IP businesses from a variety of disciplines and backgrounds.
In addition to participating in a round table discussion with Chairman and CEO John Faraci and other internal company leaders, a broad range of perspectives will be brought from external leaders who are outstanding role models in business, diversity and inclusion.
Bogans said “I am honored to be invited to participate in this event. I look forward to interacting with IP’s leadership and having them share their perspective on the importance of diversity and inclusion. Participation will allow me to gain a better understanding of my value within the organization and the pathways to professional development.”
The forum took place on November 30 and December 1 in Memphis, Tennessee, home of IP’s global headquarters, at the University of Memphis Fed Ex Institute of Technology.
