‘Tis the season to make wishes come true for local abused and neglected children! If you are not already aware, there are over 300 abused, neglected, and abandoned children right here in Chatham County. These children are removed from the dangerous situations, but as a result they become entangled in a massive state system with no one to speak for them or ensure their needs are met. That is where Court Appointed Special Advocates come in. Savannah/Chatham CASA is central to fulfilling society’s most fundamental obligation by making sure a qualified, compassionate adult will fight for and protect a child’s right to be safe, to be treated with dignity and respect and to learn and grow in the safe embrace of a loving family.
Support Savannah/ Chatham CASA by sponsoring one (or more) of our children during the holiday season by granting their Christmas wishes! We have approximately 125 children remaining that are in need of a sponsor. You can sponsor our children by making a financial donation to cover the expenses of their Christmas wish list or you can adopt a family by becoming their Secret Santa!
