An article posted online in June with its title as, “School calls Sheriff to stop 7-year-old from handing out bible verses.” The boy’s mother would drop bible verses on a note in his lunch box, in which the 7-year-old would share with his friends.
Once word got back to his teacher, the sharing of bible verses at the table would end. It was then said that the little boy could pass the bible verse notes out at the school gate. Once this was stopped, it was said that he could only pass out the verses far away from the school grounds. Some time later, a law official demanded that the sharing of bible verses stop altogether because “someone might be offended.”
As the school year approaches, it’s important for our children to know/grow in Jesus! Yes, schools have separated from religion, but the law cannot separate you from what’s already in you!
Go back to school with Jesus and join us in a two night revival on July 27th and 28th. Come out and here Minister Angela Hall and Minister Shannon Nelson of Second Arnold B. C. The starting time will be 7:30 nightly. We look forward to seeing you there! Knowing Jesus! Pastor Richard Hall II & The St. James Church Family
