Armstrong State University (ASU) held its Spring Commencement on Saturday, May 9 conferring about 770 undergraduate and graduate degrees. Among the graduates was former Savannah Tribune Managing Editor Marius Davis. Davis received the master of arts degree in professional communications and leadership. Presently an academic advisor at Savannah State University (SSU), Davis received the bachelor of arts degree in mass communications with a focus on public relations and advertising from SSU in 2006. He served as Tribune managing editor from 2009 to 2011.
