Andy Doan Named Superintendent’s Student of the Month – October 2019

Our featured Student of the Month representing the month of October attends Georgetown K-8 School and is in eighth grade. His teachers describe him as “a modest gentleman who always shows respect to his teachers as well as his peers”.

This student is very eager to learn new subject matter and is very disciplined in making sure he fully learns the content. On the first math MAP test this year, he scored in the highest category. He has earned High Honor Roll on a yearly basis and has received a Spanish award.

He is known to always volunteers to help others with classwork. His integrity really shines when he sits with those who are left out. Our student always shows respect to his teachers as well as his peers! Outside of school, he runs with a cross country team and plays soccer.

He notes his parents and success for his future are what motivates him to strive for academic success.
