AASU to Host Lecture for Women’s History Month



Armstrong Atlantic State University (AASU) will celebrate Women’s History Month in March with a lecture by Patricia Russell-McCloud.

“Women making extraordinary history…in a not so ordinary world,” will be presented on Sunday, March 1 at 5 p.m. in University Hall 156 on the AASU campus, 11935 Abercorn Street. The lecture is free and the public is invited.

Russell-McCloud has been identified by Black Enterprise magazine as one of the top five business motivators in America. Her dynamic oratorical style of delivery is rooted in a foundation of research and statistical data.

Russell-McCloud delivers more than 100 speeches annually. Her analytical ability to substantively address issues, including achieving excellence, managing workplace diversity and dealing with women and youth issues, has motivated numerous audiences to make a positive difference in their lives and the lives of others.

AASU’s Office of Multicultural Affairs, Gospel Choir, and Sigma Tau Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. sponsor the event.
