Kosha Joshi, a December 2008 graduate of the Master of Health Services Administration (MHSA) program at Armstrong Atlantic State University (AASU), has been selected for a postgraduate administrative residency with Columbus Regional Healthcare System (CRHS) in Columbus, GA beginning January 5, 2009.

The 12-month residency will offer Joshi the opportunity to experience all aspects of the Columbus Regional Healthcare System, which includes two acute care hospitals, a dedicated and world renowned sports medicine hospital, a multidisciplinary cancer center, and a number of facilities offering specialized care, long-term care homes, a retirement community, a behavioral health center, retail community pharmacies, and an urgent care center.

A native of Columbus, GA, Joshi enrolled in the MHSA program at AASU in January 2007 after receiving her undergraduate degree from Virginia Commonwealth University.

“Kosha will be conducting her post-graduate residency experience in what should be a very familiar setting for her as she also completed an administrative internship with Columbus Regional Healthcare System during summer 2008,” said Joey Crosby, MHSA graduate coordinator. “Her performance was so outstanding that CRHS actively pursued her for this post-graduate residency position. Kosha is really making a name for herself in the field of health services administration in the state of Georgia and her selection for this residency attests to that.”
