The Savannah Chapter of the A. Phillip Randolph Institute will hold this year conference here in Savannah. This year marks the 50th Anniversary of the A. Philip Randolph Institute which was founded in 1965 by civil rights leaders, A. Philip Randolph and Bayard Rustin. The conference will take place August 12-16th, 2015.
The APRI youth members, will participate in workshops and activities that cultivate powerful civil leaders and social activist. Their knowledge will be reinforced in social, political and economic climate of America. These youth will be allowed network opportunities with fellow students, activists and labor movement leaders.
Delegated from around the country will celebrate the 50th Anniversary of APRI with a gala banquet on Saturday, August 15, 2015 at the Marriott Riverfront Ballroom.
