44th Annual Session of Berean Congress Of Christian Education

The next planning meeting for the 44th Annual Berean Congress of Christian Education will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2013 at Central Missionary Baptist Church in Thunderbolt.

The church is located at 3119 Shell Road. We will begin promptly at 10:00 a.m. and end around 12:00 p.m.

The Berean Missionary Baptist Association, Inc., Congress of Christian Education will host its 44th Annual Session at Tremont Temple Missionary Baptist Church where Rev. Quentin Morris Sr., is Pastor. The Congress of Christian Education will convene July 14-19, 2013. Rev. Timothy Sheppard is the president of the Congress and Rev. Clarence Williams is the moderator o the Berean Missionary Baptist Association.

The Welcome Program and Musical will take place on Sunday, July 14, 2013 at 6:00 P.M. at Tremont Temple. The Youth Rally Elective Classes for drama, dance, spoken word, Bible Drill, choir, and other electives will be held at Tremont Temple Missionary Baptist Church, from 12 noon to 3:00P.M., Monday and Tuesday, July 15 and 16, 2013. The Certificate Of Progress Performance (COPP) classes will also convene at Tremont

Temple Missionary Baptist Church, from 6:00P.M to 9:00 P.M. on Monday, July 15, 2013. The COPP classes are designed to increase biblical knowledge; provide an educational structure for the development of candidates qualified for teaching and leadership positions; and trained church leaders.

COPP and Core Classes will convene at Garrison Elementary 649 West Jones. Classes will be Wednesday and Thursday, July 17-18, 8:30A.M. to 12:30 P.M. The Youth Rally will take place at Tremont Temple on Friday morning, July 19,, 2013; 9:00A.M.

Churches that wish to pre-register can do so on or before Saturday, June 29th. You should complete the forms included in this packet and mail forms with payment to Sis. Mary Page at 1303 E. Park Ave. Savannah, Georgia 31404 before Wednesday, June 26, 2013. Forms may also be turned in to her on Saturday, June 29th 2013 at Central Baptist Church at 10:00 am.

The fees for registration are as follows: Church $150.00; Adults $25.00; and Children $12.00. The cost of the red ribbon is included in the individual registration fees.
