3rd Annual IJAN Benefit

The Imam Jamil/H. Rap Brown Action Network of Savannah will be moving the annual community Fish Fry to the 38th Street Park (Montgomery and 38th Sts.) on Friday, September 20th, 6pm to 8pm. Come and bring some friends to enjoy the hot fish sandwiches, fries, drinks and dessert which will be for sale, and then stay for the “edutainment,” including steel pan and African drumming, spoken word and storytelling, speakers, and an emergency response demonstration by the young people of Savannah Youth City. Rap Brown, and raising awareness of other political prisoners in the U.S. The group also presents a 2nd Friday night movies and discussion series, 5pm at WW Law Center, with the purpose of building unity and understanding in the community.
