2012 Light the Night Walk

On behalf of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) and their patients, I am honored to invite you to support the 2012 Light The Night Walk!

Your support of my “Team Tanya Milton” team and the Savannah Light The Night Walk will help fund the critical initiatives of LLS and this year we need your support more than ever! Last year, Light The Night raised over $50 million across the United States and Canada for the fight against blood cancers with this fun and exciting event. The funds raised through Light The Night are used to further cancer research, protect patient rights, and provide financial aid – with $190,000 in financial assistance going to Georgia patients this past fiscal year, in addition to the $1.2 million that was disbursed through the Co-Pay Assistance Program in Georgia.

On October 12, 2012, we will hold the Light The Night Walk in Forsyth Park in Downtown Savannah. Light The Night is an evening filled with inspiration. Carrying illuminated balloons – white for survivors, red for supporters and gold in memory of loved ones lost to cancer – almost 3,000 individuals walk and form a community of caring, bringing light to the dark world of cancer.

To make a 100% taxdeductable donation to the “Team Tanya Milton” team and become a “Team Tanya Milton Member “please designate your Team Member Leader and let’s post as many balloons as possible.
