2009 Deliverance Women’s Conference

Nearly 1,000 women across the state of Georgia and various places throughout the U.S. will gather to attend the 2009 Deliverance Women’s Conference. The Sixth Episcopal District of the AME Church, under the leadership of Bishop William P. DeVeaux and Dr. Patricia M. DeVeaux will host its second spirit-filled event to be held at the Cathedral of Turner Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Marietta, GA, October 29- 31, 2009.

The theme, “Blessed and Highly Favored: Maximizing Women’s Health, Wealth and Wholeness.” The featured speakers and artists include Rev. Dr. Renita Weems (Thurs., Oct. 29); Rev. Dr. Teresa Fry Brown, Rev. Dr. Dorothy Dawkins-Haigler, Rev. Dr. Claudette Copeland (Fri., Oct. 30); Rev. Dr. Carolyn Ann Knight (Sat., Oct 31); Psalmist L’Tanya Moore and Liturgist Dr. Thema Bryant- Davis.

Register your family, friends, co-workers, neighbors and come ready to experience high praise and worship, dance, workshops, and a time of renewal at the Cathedral of Tumer Chapel.
