The 12th Annual Labor Day Beach Bash will be held Sunday, Sept. 1 at the Tybee Island Pier and Pavilion from 7-11 p.m. Free live entertainment will be provided on Sunday with live music by The Swingin’ Medallions starting at 7 p.m. with a fireworks display that can be viewed from Tybee’s eastern beaches around 9:15 p.m.
The Swingin’ Medallions, a Greenwood, South Carolina based group, has toured around the country since the early 1960s. They have performed live with Bruce Springsteen and are featured in the Georgia Music Hall of Fame. This American beach music group are a returning favorite that have performed at the Beach Bash for the past few years and draws a large crowd to the event.
This popular annual event is free and open to the public. Pay-to-park parking is available island-wide and is monitored seven days a week from 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.
