“100 Ways to Make Money” Seminar To Be Held

Savannah State University’s Miss Collegiate 100, Zuri Randall is calling for ALL future entrepreneurs! Join Zuri Randall and her ladies, Danielle Bushanan and JaTaya Carter, at 6pm on Thursday, October 3rd, 2019 in the The Village Recreation Room for “100 Ways to Make Money”, a financial literacy seminar featuring a pop-up shop! There will be lots of giveaways, raffles and prizes. The pop-up shop includes 12 student owned businesses that range from hair care, cosmetic services, original fashion, and more. Yes, this event is free and open to the public. This is an experience that you don’t want to miss!

Miss Collegiate 100’s primary goal when planning this event was to focus the many ways to generate income. But more importantly, how to properly manage the generated income. With the help of the Brothers of the Collegiate 100, Randall was able to come up with 100 useful financial tips to share at the seminar.

The purpose of this event is to help lead students down the road to financial stability as well encourage them to become their own boss. The Collegiate 100 provides the perfect platform for such an event since one of the organization’s four pillars is “economic empowerment”. Along with Education, Mentorship and Health Awareness, these pillars provide a strong foundation for this well-respected organization. “The mission of the Collegiate 100 is to support the sponsoring chapter’s initiative of nurturing and enhancing the growth and development and opportunities for African American youth.” stated by Brandon Bowdry, Treasurer/ Royal Court Director (Junior at Savannah State). This organization has a stellar reputation on Savannah State University campus, and are expecting this event to enhance that reputation even more!
