NCCU, Hampton Win MEAC Titles

North Carolina Central and Hampton are the latest basketball champions in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference. Number one seed NCCU won the men’s tournament championship game with a 67-59 victory over Norfolk State while Hampton defeated top seeded Bethune-Cookman 52-49 in the women’s bracket. Both games were played on March 11 in Norfolk, Virginia.
